Glenn Smith

Consultant and Area Facilitator

Glenn is the Director of New Church Initiatives, a ministry created to help start healthy reproducing churches to reach people who are untouched by the gospel. He also serves as a consultant for the Emerging Church Network. Glenn has worked in local churches for over 20 years. He was a church planter in Indiana and served as the Executive Pastor of Sugar Creek Baptist Church in Sugar Land, TX. While serving at Sugar Creek their church planted 56 churches in the US and around the world. He has developed systems of assessment, training, coaching, and strategic partnerships designed to facilitate church planting movements. Glenn attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Terri have three daughters.
