Strategy Coordinator

My name is Jim Morisey. My wife, Johanna, and 8 year old daughter, Rachel, live and minister in southwest Houston. I am seeking to develop a church planting movement of reproducing small church groups among apartment dwellers, ethnic groups, and neighborhoods in the southwest area of Houston. The groups can run 3-20 people. I am focusing on a 3-4 square mile area of over 160 apartments, 300,000-400,000 low income people with many ethnic groups. I have my own groups, called Fellowship Church Network, and partner with believers from local churches to develop this movement. We use a missionary strategy incorporating evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. Indigenous leaders are being raised up through this strategy to begin to lead groups. Believers from other local churches will hopefully learn to take this strategy and use it in their work place and living area. As of 10/19/05, we have over 11 groups with around 55 people and over 70 believers in Pakistan as I network with a young pastor there, teaching and training him weekly by internet.
